Dialect Studio

Untitled production

What are you trying to achieve?

Plain language. Director notes, actor prep, dialect drill — say it.

How this studio works

  1. Goal — name the production outcome.
  2. Script — paste sides; parse characters.
  3. Cast — region × era × register × voice.
  4. Coach — emphasis, tips, traps.
  5. Rehearse — mimic the gold take.
  6. Export — pack annotations & audio.

Director’s contract

The gold take is what the director expects in a period piece. Actors do not rewrite dialect after lock — they learn lines and match delivery: music, reductions, and intention.
